About The Position

NU3S is seeking an experienced Head Cook to support the pre-opening and launch of a high-volume café in Queens, NY. The role involves supporting kitchen setup, menu testing, and pre-opening prep, preparing food to recipe and quality standards, supervising a staff of 4, leading and training kitchen staff in a fast-paced environment, overseeing food quality, kitchen operations, and workflow, managing inventory and minimizing waste, and ensuring food safety, sanitation, and compliance. The Head Cook will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.

Requirements

  • Head Chef, Lead Cook, or Kitchen Manager experience
  • QSR, café, and/or bakery background
  • ServSafe certification required
  • Weekend and holiday availability
  • Strong leadership and organization

  • High-volume kitchen experience preferred
