This role involves cooking and preparing a variety of food through standardized recipes, ensuring all meals meet quality standards, and monitoring food service staff. The Head Cook will prepare menu items, check equipment, manage food leftovers, and oversee ordering, receiving, storing, and inventory control of perishable products. This position also involves reinforcing USDA regulations, conducting cost control analysis, controlling waste, and establishing food and labor cost goals. Effective time management in a fast-paced environment is essential, along with performing other requested duties.
