The Head of Collection Management and Assessment Librarian oversees the library’s acquisitions and collection development processes and leads collection assessment initiatives. The position manages, monitors, and reports on all aspects of the library’s budget, ensuring effective and responsible allocation of resources. The position also oversees interlibrary loan and resource sharing services in collaboration with the Metadata and Resource Management Librarian and supervises the Electronic Resources Librarian, Library Digital Technologies Administrator, and Library Assistant. The Head of Collection Management and Assessment Librarian also contributes to library planning, policy development, assessment, and professional activities in support of the University’s academic mission.
