About The Position

At KidStrong, we help parents build stronger, smarter, more athletic kids. KidStrong is a milestone accelerator for kids walking through 11 years old. We help parents discover their child’s superpowers and build future-ready kids who are confident in making friends, running the playground, and raising their hands high in the classroom. KidStrong is rapidly growing and we're looking for talented, enthusiastic professionals who are passionate, energetic, and excited to engage with parents and kids and make an impact on their lives. This role would focus on coaching children on brain, physical, and character development that stems from evolving monthly curriculum. The ideal candidate must also be comfortable speaking to parents/guardians regarding “the why” behind the KidStrong curriculum.

Requirements

Passion for working with children is non-negotiable!
Intermediate knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics
CPR certified
Positive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skills
Self-starter who just gets a job done

Nice To Haves

Experience coaching kids ages 15 months - to 11 years old
Prior experience as a pediatric OT/PT is a plus
Previous experience in management is preferred
Prior experience coaching students within the appropriate KidStrong age group is preferred
Prior experience speaking to and educating parents on the KidStrong curriculum

Responsibilities

Coaching children on brain, physical, and character development that stems from evolving monthly curriculum
Speaking to parents/guardians regarding “the why” behind the KidStrong curriculum
Set schedules for the coaching staff
Assess and evaluate the center's coaches' performances and execution
Opportunity to increase scheduled hours through private class coaching hours
