About The Position

The Head Coach will be responsible for safely and effectively coaching participants through a complete interval training session, developing coaching staff within your designated studio, handling administrative duties, and partnering with your Studio Manager to ensure all Key Performance Indicator (KPI’s) goals are met.

Requirements

Must hold a current fitness certification from an OTF approved education company (ACE, AFAA, ACSM, NASM or NSCA)
Must invest 10+ hours per year in continuing education lectures and workshops outside of OTF curriculum.
Must have current in-person or blended (in-person and self-study) CPR/AED certification.
3+ years of professional experience teaching and/or managing in the Fitness Industry.
Must understand human movement, physiology, heart rate focused training programs and the science that supports the OTF workouts.
Excellent communication, strong business acumen, and customer service skills.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in an Exercise Related Field is preferred.

Responsibilities

Responsible for creating a positive, high energy, respectful and safe OTF studio environment
Responsible for building Orangetheory Fitness (OTF) attendance, retaining current clientele and achieving monthly key performance indicator (KPI) metrics.
Responsible for developing strong professional relationships with new, current and former OTF studio clients.
Responsible for facilitating follow up communication and handling member concerns in a professional, objective manner with the goal of resolution.
Responsible for managing the continuous education, development and auditing of coaching personnel within a studio using the OTF business model and policies.
Culturally sensitive and able to adjust learning styles to meet unique cultural needs
Conducts monthly fitness staff meetings and attends all relative, mandatory webinars and other requested corporate meetings
Promote compliance to quality control and brand standards.
Identify coach development needs throughout a respective OTF studio and assist in creating innovative solutions to educational needs.
Responsible for organization and cleanliness of the studio, including the training floor.
Responsible for managing, auditing and submitting numerous KPI reports, equipment requests, and organizing the OTF training session schedule on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
Leads/instructs a minimum of 10 OTF training sessions per week including weekends if needed or instructed by your Studio Manager
Develop a strong professional relationship with the Studio Manager to ensure goals are met and assist sales Associates with new prospect studio tours/sales including staying current with pricing options.
Maintain current, active employee files which include resume, CPR cards, fitness certifications, disciplinary items, emergency contact info, I-9 form and more.
Must be flexible and willing to work weekends, including special events, when needed and as requested by your Studio Manager and supervisor
