About The Position
At KidStrong, we help parents build stronger, smarter, more athletic kids. KidStrong is a milestone accelerator for kids walking through 11 years old. We help parents discover their child’s superpowers and build future-ready kids who are confident in making friends, running the playground, and raising their hands high in the classroom. In other words… kids who will win at life! KidStrong Mcdonough at 5960 E Lake Pkwy Mcdonough Ga is rapidly growing and we're looking for talented, enthusiastic professionals who are passionate, energetic, and excited to engage with parents and kids and make an impact on their lives. We are looking for coaches with an athletic or coaching background who ideally have experience coaching kids ages 15 months - to 11 years old KidStrong Head Coach would focus on coaching children on the brain, physical, and character development that stems from evolving monthly curriculum The ideal candidate must also be comfortable speaking to parents/guardians regarding “the why” behind the KidStrong curriculum Set schedules for the coaching staff Assess and evaluate the center's coaches' performances and execution Our classes run weekdays 9 am -11 am and evenings until 7 pm. On weekends we start at 8 AM and run through lunchtime. Opportunity for a flexible work schedule depending on studio needs. Additional opportunity to increase scheduled hours through private class coaching hours. Prior experience as a pediatric OT/PT is a plus, but not required!
Requirements
- Passion for working with children is non-negotiable!
- Intermediate knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics
- CPR certified
- Positive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skills
- Self-starter who just gets a job done

Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in management is preferred but not required
- Prior experience coaching students within the appropriate KidStrong age group is preferred
- Prior experience speaking to and educating parents on the KidStrong curriculum
- Prior experience as a pediatric OT/PT is a plus, but not required!
