About The Position

Franklin Pierce University, an NCAA Division II institution and member of the Northeast-10 Conference, is seeking a Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach. This full-time, 12-month coaching position works directly with the women’s lacrosse team and reports to the Director of Athletics. The anticipated start date is as soon as possible. Applications will be reviewed immediately and confidential screening will continue until the position is filled.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience coaching at the college level.
• Good organizational, oral, and written communication skills.
• Experience in recruiting and the ability to recruit new student-athletes.
• Knowledge of NCAA regulations and guidelines governing the recruitment and retention of student-athletes.
• Experience with fundraising and budget management.

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and conduct individual and team practices.
• Train the team and coach during competition games.
• Recruit student-athletes.
• Conduct fundraising.
• Manage scheduling, budgeting, and travel.
