About The Position

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • A minimum of three years of successful tennis coaching and leadership experience
  • A valid driver’s license
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Building inclusive team environments

  • 5+ years of tennis coaching experience

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for building a competitive and sustainable roster
  • Identifies, recruits and retains academically and athletically talented student-athletes
  • Prioritizes the holistic development of student-athletes, mentoring them toward academic achievement, personal growth, and professional readiness.
  • Oversees all daily operational and technical aspects of both tennis programs.
  • Organizing practice sessions, designing strategic match preparations, developing competitive schedules, and coordinating team travel logistics.
  • Actively network to secure high-quality off-campus facilities for practices and home matches.
  • Hiring and developing assistant coaches
  • Managing the operational budget with fiscal responsibility
  • Executing all administrative tasks in a timely, professional manner.
  • Active alumni outreach and fundraising campaigns
  • Collaborates broadly with faculty, staff, and Student Affairs to enrich campus life.
  • Game day administration for other sports.
  • Ensure absolute compliance with all federal laws, institutional policies, Conference of New England (CNE) guidelines, and NCAA Division III regulations.
