About The Position
Reporting to the Health, Physical Education, & Recreation (HPER) Program Coordinator, under the supervisor of the Athletic Director (AD), the Head Coach’s duties will include being responsible for all aspects of coaching, recruiting, and administering of the Varsity Softball Program along with being a relentless supporter of Lorain County Community College and its athletics department. This coach will be responsible for leading the baseball program.
Responsibilities
- Recruiting, recruiting, recruiting!
- Developing and coaching student-athletes.
- Monitoring student-athlete academic performance.
- Commitment to academic integrity and student-athlete welfare.
- Developing and managing the program’s budget.
- Fund-raising to support the program’s operational budget.
- Hire, supervise, and develop assistant coaches.
