SUPPLEMENTAL ONLY- Head Coach Softball
About The Position
This is a supplemental position for a Head Coach for Softball. The goal of the position is to coach the softball team. Essential performance responsibilities include imparting knowledge of the sport to participants. Minimum qualifications include a standard high school diploma or GED. Florida State Statute mandates that all high school coaches hold a valid Florida Educator Certificate. Applicants who do not hold a valid Florida Educator Certificate will be required to obtain an Athletic Coaching Certificate from the Florida Department of Education. The position also requires computer skills as needed.
Requirements
- Standard high school diploma or satisfactory completion of any General Education Development (GED) Testing Program.
- Florida State Statute mandates that all high school coaches hold a valid Florida Educator Certificate.
- Applicants who do not hold a valid Florida Educator Certificate will be required to obtain an Athletic Coaching Certificate from the Florida Department of Education.
- Knowledge of the sport and the ability to impart this knowledge.
