About The Position

Assist the Head Coach with all aspects of the Men’s and Women’s Track & Field program, including but not limited to practice and competition management, student-athlete skill development, recruiting, planning and implementing daily training sessions and competitions, organizing and administering clinics, and handling administrative tasks essential to program operations. The role requires integrity, leadership, and a strong commitment to motivating, teaching, counseling, and recruiting academically qualified student-athletes.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of successful intercollegiate experience, preferably, at the Division I level
  • Knowledge of NCAA Rules & Regulations
  • USATF & IAAF Rules pertinent to hosting a compliant track meet preferred
  • Strong interpersonal communications skills
  • Computer skills
  • Demonstrated integrity, leadership, and a thorough knowledge of the sport
  • Ability to become CPR and first aid certified

Nice To Haves

  • At least 1 year in relevant independent or educational activities
