About The Position

The Head Coach for Men's & Women's Golf at Texas A&M University - Victoria is responsible for developing, managing, and coaching the university’s men’s and women’s golf teams. This role involves identifying and recruiting student-athletes who can achieve academic success while competing in intercollegiate athletics. The coach will plan and organize practice sessions, schedule tournaments and matches, and represent the Athletics Department at professional, civic, charity, and alumni events. Additionally, the position requires participation in external activities, public relations campaigns, fundraising, and outreach programs. The Head Coach must ensure compliance with all university, Red River Athletic Conference, and NAIA rules and regulations, lead the NAIA Champions of Character program, monitor student-athletes' academic progress, maintain equipment inventory, and supervise an assistant golf coach.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Minimum 2 years college coaching experience

  • Supervise assistant golf coach
