About The Position

The Head Women’s Golf Coach is responsible for all facets of the Women’s Golf program including but not limited to competitive performance, student-athlete development, student-athlete safety, health & well-being, recruiting, academics, compliance, program development, staff management, fundraising, team travel, camps/clinics, game day management, alumni relations, and community engagement.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of NCAA Division I Women's Golf
  • Knowledge of the NCAA compliance and recruiting rules
  • Knowledge of ARMS software
  • Ability to travel extensively
  • Ability to manage staff
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Requires a bachelor’s degree and five years of Intercollegiate coaching experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Nice To Haves

  • NCAA D1 Intercollegiate coaching experience is preferred.

  • Organizing, preparing and conducting team practices, training, and competition

  • Regular communication with sport administrator and athletic support staff related to sport (strength and conditioning, sports medicine, academic advising, sport information, marketing & promotions, equipment & facilities, MocsVision, and community service)
