Personal Trainer
About The Position
This position runs all the "beyond the glass” back-of-house” fitness studio operations, including driving sales conversions, hiring, and training fitness pros, managing the schedule, and community outreach at single Orangetheory Fitness studio. The Head Coach is responsible for coaching classes, community outreach marketing, planning, customer care contacts, coach evaluations, and delivering coach workshops. This role involves leading a team of engaged fitness professionals and inspiring members to achieve 'More Life' through pre-designed workouts, ensuring safety and proper form. A key aspect is understanding the science behind the workouts, including heart-rate-focused training, and demonstrating the usage of all equipment. The role also includes recruiting and interviewing fitness professionals.
Requirements
- Must have one of the following certifications: ACE CPT or Group Fitness, NASM CPT, AFAA Group Fitness, NSCA CPT or CSCS, ACSM CPT, Group Exercise Instructor, or Certified Exercise Physiologist
- Must be AED/CPR certified
- Charismatic, inspirational leader with a GO-GETTER attitude
- Ability to drive sales performance and community activation with proven results
- Excellent communication skills, whether face-to-face or on paper
- Team leader of Certified Fitness Professionals

Responsibilities
- Runs all "beyond the glass” back-of-house” fitness studio operations
- Drives sales conversions
- Hires and trains fitness pros
- Manages the schedule
- Conducts community outreach
- Coaches 12 to 18 classes per week
- Spends 10 to 15 hours a week on community outreach marketing, planning, customer care contacts, coach evaluations, and delivering coach workshops
- Leads a team of engaged fitness professionals
- Inspires and motivates members through pre-designed workouts
- Ensures members are safe and using the correct form
- Offers form corrections on the rower, tread, or weight room floor
- Understands the science behind the workouts, specifically heart-rate-focused training programs
- Demonstrates usage for every piece of equipment utilized in every workout
- Recruits and interviews fitness professionals
