This role involves assisting customers with their needs, locating and demonstrating merchandise, and answering questions about products and programs. The Head Cashier also coaches and trains front-end associates, processes sales transactions, returns, and refunds, and manages register operations. Responsibilities include preparing the register area, inspecting returned merchandise, entering customer orders, looking up product information, and recording store use items. The Head Cashier monitors cash levels, manages store entrances and exits to detect security risks, and ensures compliance with housekeeping and safety standards. This role requires operating various store equipment and performing other duties as assigned.
