The Head Cashier provides SMART customer service, assists customers with locating and selecting merchandise, and answers customer and employee questions knowledgeably and promptly. This role involves communicating product information, coaching and training associates, processing sales transactions, returns, and refunds, and preparing the register area for shifts. The Head Cashier also monitors merchandise and security risks, ensures housekeeping and safety standards are met, and operates store equipment as needed. Additional duties may be assigned.
