Head Boys Basketball Coach - ATHLETICS
About The Position
This position is responsible for the coaching activities sanctioned by RPS Athletics. The Head Boys Basketball Coach will plan and schedule a regular program of practice during the season, coach individual participants in the skills necessary for excellent achievement in the sport, and assist in the selection, assignment, and evaluation of assistant coaches. The coach will also collaborate with the student activities coordinator and other personnel in recommending the purchase of uniforms, equipment, and supplies, and oversee the maintenance, safety, and cleanliness of uniforms, equipment, supplies, and the facility. Adherence to all RPS Athletics policies and procedures, as well as regulations imposed by the RPS division, is required. The coach will enforce discipline and sportsmanlike behavior at all times, be responsible for issuing and collecting all school properties used, and cooperatively plan for an annual recognition program for qualifying students. Other related duties as required.
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to develop and manage athletic activities sanctioned by RPS.
- Bilingual skills to include Spanish are a plus.
Responsibilities

- Overseeing or helping to oversee maintenance, safety and cleanliness of uniforms, equipment, supplies and the facility or area to be used.
- Adhering to all RPS Athletics policies and procedures as well as regulations imposed by the RPS division.

- Performing other related duties as required.
