About The Position

Primoris Gas Operations, which consists of companies such as Q3 Contracting, ARB, Primoris Distribution Services, Snelson and Pipejacking Trenchless, has over 60 years of experience working in the natural gas distribution industry. We are hiring Horizontal Directional Drill (HDD) Operators for work out of our Little Canada, MN location. The HDD Operator’s main responsibility is to operate heavy equipment safely and effectively for the installation of natural gas pipelines. The Operator will perform other duties as required to support the crew.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL with Tanker endorsement.
• 3 plus years of working experience in operating excavation equipment in the utility industry.
• Technical thinking ability.
• Ability to read standards and schematics.
• Willingness to travel.

Nice To Haves

• Backhoe and/or Mini Ex experience.
• Working experience in construction, or the utility distribution industry in Gas or Electric.
• Horizontal Directional Drill Experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment safely and effectively for the installation of natural gas pipelines.
• Perform other duties as required to support the crew.
