About The Position

Javelin Utility Services Inc. is searching for a HDD Driller Operator to join us in our Springfield, Oregon office. As an HDD Driller Operator, you will be working alongside the Drill Locator and crew to complete drilling, tie ins, setting boxes, and pot holing, plus additional work.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of related drilling experience with Vermeer and/or Ditch Witch.
A valid, unrestricted driver’s license.
Knowledge of mud mixing and drilling safety.
Able to lift/carry 70 lbs. regularly.
Ability to set up & maintain safe work areas.
Be able to read and understand schematics and construction prints.
Must pass U/A Test (urinalysis).
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Must have a clean driving record and a Valid Driver’s License.

Nice To Haves

Commercial driver’s license preferred but not required.
Telecommunications construction experience preferred.
Be able to work in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

Working alongside the Drill Locator and crew to complete drilling, tie ins, setting boxes, and pot holing.
Additional work as assigned.
Completing occasional underground activities, such as proof and place cable/fiber in conduit.
Managing all tools and equipment.
Loading and unloading materials and equipment.
Managing troubleshooting problems as they arise in the field.
Setting up and maintaining safe work areas.
Setting up and maintaining safe work environments.
