About The Position

Provide excellent customer service to gaming and internal guests through cashier transactions while ensuring all funds are secure and accounted for. This role involves a variety of cashiering duties, including processing checks, chip redemptions, markers, payments, credit card advances, and bill breaking. The Cage Cashier is responsible for all funds entrusted during their shift and must understand and comply with all government regulations, including Anti-money Laundering (AML) regulations. This includes knowing when and how to submit a Suspicious Activity Incident Report (SAI) and recognizing red flags of suspicious transactions. The position requires the ability to complete necessary paperwork for Currency Transaction Reports (CTRs), Monetary Instrument Logs (MILs), and Multiple Transaction Logs (MTLs), as well as process OFAC screenings. The role also involves creating and maintaining customer Resort Advantage (RA) accounts, monitoring floor activity, and identifying customers attempting to structure transactions or evade identification requirements. The Cage Cashier must be proficient in various cage positions, including front line, employee, chip bank, marker bank, poker cage, F&B, and bank. Accurate counting and processing of chip transactions, including handling large chip transactions, is essential. The position requires the ability to complete all paperwork accurately, verify play before payment to comply with Title 31 and Know Your Customer regulations, and utilize a computer workstation for most functions. Additionally, the role may involve assisting in the box office with ticketing for event center shows. Participative teamwork, proactive problem-solving with customer incidents, and adherence to all departmental and company policies are expected. Flexibility in working additional hours, shifts, days off, and daily assignments is required.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver excellent customer service to all gaming guests
  • Understand and comply with all government regulations
  • Understand and comply with government Anti-money Laundering regulations. Know when and how to submit a Suspicious Activity Incident Report (SAI). Know the red flags of suspicious transactions or activities
  • Understand what information is needed to complete Currency Transaction Reports (CTR’s), Monetary Instrument Logs (MIL’s) and Multiple Transaction Logs (MTL) and able to enter the customer information needed to complete forms
  • Able to process OFAC (Office of Foreign Asset Control) screenings when needed before completing transactions
  • Process cashiering transactions for guests including cashing checks, chip redemptions, markers and payments, credit card advances, bill breaking and other transactions
  • Able to handle extremely large chip transactions accurately utilizing calculation tools to determine correct payout as well as correct payment to the guests
  • Ability to create and maintain customer RA (Resort Advantage) accounts and enter transactions into RA
  • Floor Monitor, checking and entering all customer data needed to comply with government regulations
  • Identify customers who may be trying to structure transactions or evade or circumvent identification requirements
  • Able to work all front line, employee, chip bank, marker bank, poker cage, F &B and bank positions
  • Able to complete all paperwork accurately, verifying play before payment to comply with Title 31 and Know Your Customer regulations
  • Utilize computer workstation for majority of the functions of the cashier job.
