The role of a Cloud Consulting Senior Project Manager requires an experienced project management professional with strong business acumen, technical competency in SaaS-based software and leadership skills for successful delivery of Oracle HCM solutions (software + services). The Cloud Consulting Senior Project Manager works closely with Delivery teams, Solution Architects, Sales, Customer Success Managers, and Services Operations to ensure customer technology deployments & projects are delivered on time, within budget and according to the project plan scope. The Cloud Consulting Senior Project Manager will also identify and mitigate any risks throughout the project(s) s/he manages. The Cloud Consulting Senior Project Manager must be able to manage cross-functional teams from different Oracle departments and demonstrate diplomacy and the ability to manage demanding customers. They must demonstrate leadership and motivational skills and mentor other members of the PMO. The Cloud Consulting Senior Project Manager actively contributes to continuous PMO process improvements and publishes contributions to the knowledge base.

Responsibilities

  • Works closely with Delivery teams, Solution Architects, Sales, Customer Success Managers, and Services Operations to ensure customer technology deployments & projects are delivered on time, within budget and according to the project plan scope.
  • Identify and mitigate any risks throughout the project(s) s/he manages.
  • Manage cross-functional teams from different Oracle departments.
  • Demonstrate diplomacy and the ability to manage demanding customers.
  • Demonstrate leadership and motivational skills and mentor other members of the PMO.
  • Actively contributes to continuous PMO process improvements and publishes contributions to the knowledge base.
  • Design solutions for what the client needs—scaled to their business.
  • Work as a trusted advisor for the client, delivering with quality, and predictability.
  • Strive to exceed the client’s expectations and maintain a culture of accountability by continuously soliciting client feedback—and acting on it.
  • Lead, coach, and mentor junior employees on the Oracle team to confirm all team members are proactively completing tasks at hand.
  • Participate in shaping our team, recruiting, people development, and programs to engage and develop our people.
  • Help imagine the art of the possible, dreaming up what we aren’t thinking about—new assets, better delivery approaches—and help our clients do the same.
