About The Position

We are seeking an HCC Medical Coder to join a supportive finance and coding team within an established, reputable medical group. This role is crucial for reviewing medical records and superbills to ensure accurate HCC and diagnosis coding, auditing provider documentation to support accurate risk adjustment, and collaborating with providers and internal teams on coding-related inquiries. The position also supports quality, compliance, and documentation improvement efforts.

Requirements

• Active coding certification (AHIMA or AAPC)
• Experience with HCC, ICD‑10, CPT, and HCPCS
• Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
• Comfortable working in EMRs and Excel

Nice To Haves

• Experience in coding, auditing, billing, or claims (1+ year preferred)
