Requirements

• HCA certification required (or CNA license preferred)
• Minimum 6 months full-time / 12 months part-time caregiving experience
• Strong communication skills and compassionate demeanor
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance (if transporting clients)
• Proof of current TB testing
• Physical ability to perform caregiving duties
• Punctual, mature, and trustworthy
• Ability to pass national/state background checks

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and meaningful conversation
• Assist with personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing, meals)
• Support safe mobility and transportation to appointments
• Prepare meals and provide medication reminders
• Follow emergency protocols and safety procedures
• Engage clients in activities they enjoy to promote wellness
• Document care provided according to agency standards
