About The Position

We are seeking experienced and safety-focused CDL Class A Hazmat Drivers to join our growing transportation team. This position involves the transportation of sulfuric acid, aluminum sulfate, and other chemicals using our fleet of 3 Freightliner Cascadias, 1 Peterbilt, an Acid Trailer, an End Dump Trailer, and 3 ISO Tanks. This role requires strict adherence to DOT safety regulations, proper handling of hazardous materials, and on-time deliveries to industrial clients.

Requirements

Valid CDL Class A License with Hazmat (H) and Tanker (N) endorsements.
Minimum 5 years of verifiable commercial driving experience (chemical transport preferred).
Clean driving record (no major violations or accidents).
Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and hazmat safety procedures.
Physically capable of performing loading/unloading tasks as required.
Excellent communication, dependability, and safety awareness.

Nice To Haves

Experience hauling sulfuric acid or corrosive materials.
Familiarity with ISO tank and end dump trailer operations.
TWIC Card (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) is a plus.

Responsibilities

Safely transport sulfuric acid, aluminum sulfate, and other chemical products to customer locations.
Operate acid trailers, end dump trailers, and ISO tanks in compliance with DOT and company safety standards.
Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
Ensure all hazmat documentation and placards are accurate and up to date.
Follow all safety protocols for hazardous material handling and unloading.
Maintain accurate driver logs, delivery records, and trip reports.
Communicate effectively with dispatch, operations, and maintenance teams.
