About The Position

The purpose of this position is to support mission-critical logistics, sustainment, operational, facilities, training, and mission-enabling activities in support of U.S. Government and Department of Defense objectives throughout the Indo-Pacific region. Personnel in this role contribute to the planning, coordination, execution, and sustainment of complex operations in dynamic and geographically dispersed environments. The position supports operational readiness, resource integration, mission effectiveness, and stakeholder collaboration while ensuring compliance with applicable policies, procedures, and security requirements. Duties are performed in support of contingency, expeditionary, and steady-state operations and may require coordination with Government personnel, mission partners, and cross-functional teams to achieve program objectives.

Requirements

  • 3-10 years experience
  • Possesses and applies expertise on multiple complex work assignments.
  • Assignments may be broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks.
  • Operates with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems.
  • Contributes to deliverables and performance metrics where applicable.

Responsibilities

  • Manages the safe storage and handling of hazardous materials in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Develops and implements procedures to ensure proper containment, labeling, and segregation of hazardous substances.
  • Inspects storage facilities regularly to identify potential risks and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
  • Monitors inventory levels and tracks hazardous materials using accurate documentation systems.
  • Coordinates with disposal teams to facilitate the safe removal and transportation of hazardous waste.
  • Conducts risk assessments to evaluate storage practices and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Trains personnel on safe handling, storage, and emergency response procedures related to hazardous materials.
  • Collaborates with regulatory agencies to maintain compliance and address any required corrective actions.
  • Work at various sites, both CONUS and OCONUS, with travel as required.
  • Perform duties associated with the assigned functional role.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
