About The Position

This role is responsible for guaranteeing all Hazmat Receiving, Picking and Put-away alongside housekeeping in the Hazmat storage locations will be done daily. The specialist will also assist the Hazmat team with outgoing hazardous material orders.

Requirements

  • Passionate about time management and organization.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Outlook.
  • Able to move around for long periods of time.
  • Able to intermittently lift 50 lbs. unassisted.
  • Vehicle certified or willing to be trained.
  • Willing and able to be hazardous material trained and certified through UPS for handling and shipping.
  • Proficient in English (verbal and written).

  • Genius-level knowledge of original equipment manufacturer parts.

Responsibilities

  • Guarantee all Hazmat Receiving, Picking and Put-away alongside housekeeping in the Hazmat storage locations will be done daily.
  • Assist the Hazmat team with outgoing hazardous material orders.
  • Meticulously receive Hazmat Product into the WMS system and ensure the product is not damaged or leaking.
  • Put-away and allocate Hazmat product with a RF scan gun and deliver it to the correct storage locations.
  • Pick all Hazmat related orders with a RF scan gun and get them to the correct shipping locations in a timely fashion.
  • Operate a forklift to maneuver skids, load trucks, and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Read and understand the SDS for each hazardous item.
  • Understand the CFR 49 Regulation manual including follow all directions from the manual to clean up spills.
