About The Position

Terrestris Global Solutions is seeking a dependable and safety-driven Hazmat CDL Driver to support government contracting operations in and around West Point, N.Y. This position supports mission-critical transportation and logistics activities involving hazardous materials, fuel transport operations, and specialized vehicle movement in support of government and military operations. Requirements

Valid CDL Class A or B license (Class A preferred)
Current Hazmat Endorsement required
Tanker Endorsement required
Clean driving record and ability to meet DOT requirements
Experience operating fuel tankers or transporting hazardous materials
Ability to obtain and maintain access to military and government installations
Strong understanding of DOT hazmat regulations and safety procedures
Ability to work flexible and intermittent schedules based on operational needs

Nice To Haves

Previous experience supporting government or military logistics operations
Experience working on or around military installations
TWIC card preferred
Familiarity with fuel handling and spill prevention procedures
Prior experience with tactical or specialized transport operations

Responsibilities

Safely operate CDL-class vehicles, including fuel tankers and hazmat transport vehicles
Transport hazardous materials, fuel, and mission-related supplies to and from government and military facilities
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
Ensure proper placarding, documentation, and handling of hazardous materials
Maintain compliance with all federal, state, DOT, OSHA, and hazmat transportation regulations
Follow all safety and environmental procedures while loading, transporting, and unloading materials
Coordinate with dispatch personnel, site managers, and government representatives
Maintain accurate trip logs, inspection reports, and transport documentation
Operate professionally and safely on military installations and secure government facilities
