About The Position

Drive a regional lane transporting batteries through Arizona, Texas, California, Utah, Colorado, Nevada, and New Mexico. Freight is unloaded using a lift gate and an electric pallet jack. Drivers must have a Hazmat endorsement within 60 days of hire; assistance obtaining the endorsement is available. Selected drivers earn an average of $28.92 per hour.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must hold a valid CDL-A license and current DOT medical card.
• Must pass a drug test; SAP candidates are not accepted.
• Must have a clean driving record, with no more than two accidents or violations in the last three years.
• Must have verifiable, recent trailer-driving experience and a good employment and driving record appropriate to experienced or graduate driver status.
• Must have a Hazmat endorsement or obtain one within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Drive regional routes through AZ, TX, CA, UT, CO, NV, and NM.
• Transport batteries and unload freight using a lift gate and an electric pallet jack.
• Obtain a Hazmat endorsement within 60 days of hire if not already held.
