Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in operating forklifts and material handling equipment safely.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate documentation and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Ability to work independently while communicating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Physically capable and safety-focused, with willingness to obtain and maintain required certifications (e.g., OSHA, RCRA, Hazmat).

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred experience in chemical handling, hazardous waste, and industrial safety practices.
  • Additional ISO and regulatory experience as a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Safely handle, label, store, and prepare hazardous waste and recycling materials in full compliance with regulatory and company standards.
  • Maintain accurate and compliant records for waste management and air permit requirements (e.g., waste tracking, air units, dust collectors).
  • Coordinate and perform safe offloading of bulk materials (solvents and polymers), including equipment setup, monitoring, and documentation.
  • Inspect, organize, and maintain storage areas, tanks, and recycling zones to meet safety, environmental, and housekeeping standards.
  • Support operations through communication, equipment use, spill response, safety training, and reporting of hazards or irregularities.
