About The Position
This position will totally and completely assist with removal of all biohazardous waste streams from the UAMS Campus and surrounding sites, segregate, pack and prepare for shipment to a disposal facility. This position will inspect and follow-up with maintaining cleanliness of soiled/dirty utility rooms in all clinical areas of UAMS main campus and central Arkansas off-site clinics.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED or formal education equivalent
- 1 year experience in a healthcare or regulatory environment
- Ability to follow oral instruction, read and write
- Valid driver’s license
- Proven customer service skills
- Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment
Nice To Haves
- A minimum of 2 - 5 years’ experience in a healthcare or regulatory environment
- 3-5 years customer service experience in a logistic based customer facing role
Responsibilities
