About The Position

Responsible for transporting materials throughout the facility primarily by use of powered industrial fork trucks and maintain documentation related to those items.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and understand instructions.
• Maintain good sanitation and housekeeping practices.
• Comply with all quality system and regulatory requirements.
• Work in a safe and efficient manner.
• Requires regular attendance.
• Ability to manipulate, lift and position heavy equipment
• Able to bend, stoop, kneel and crawl, occasionally climb steps and safety ladders, continuous walking and standing
• Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 50lbs

Responsibilities

• Inventory control and validate counts
• Generate production tickets/tags
• Apply documentation to correct pallets
• Document production
• Ensure safety and quality of work
• Perform safety inspections of equipment
• Move product through different areas and environments
• Operate multiple styles of fork truck
• Handle and use cleaning chemicals and perform sanitation duties
• Other duties as assigned
