About The Position

NASI is seeking Haul Truck Operators to join our remote mining site team in the Fort McMurray area. This is your opportunity to join one of the safest and largest contractors in the region. For this role, NASI offers a base rate of up to $39.25/hour as well as room for growth!

Requirements

• 6+ months of experience operating various sizes of Haul Trucks preference CAT 793.
• Oilsands specific experience.
• A safety-first attitude.
• Attentive and possess strong listening skills.
• Proficient in English, both verbal and written.
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License.

• High school diploma, GED, and/or post-secondary education is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Operate various sizes and models of Haul Truck (CAT 793) as required to complete assigned work.
• Ensure compliance to all company, client and legislated safety policies, operating standards and procedures.
• Using adequate and suitable safety equipment, including PPE.
• Reviewing safe work plans/hazard assessment prior to job commencement.
• Complete walk-arounds, safety checks and field level risk assessments and ensure the heavy equipment is running properly.
• Report any necessary repairs to the Field Operations Supervisor or Maintenance team.
• Report all incidents, damage and near misses immediately.
