About The Position
Allan Myers is looking for a dedicated, hard-working end dump driver to join our team of professionals. Learn and grow within our company; we promote from within and provide great benefits. This non-exempt position requires heavy physical duties on a variety of tasks which are generally either unskilled or semi-skilled in nature. Duties will vary depending on the type of work assigned to crew.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of equipment operating experience required.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Related work experience required.
Nice To Haves
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) a plus.
Responsibilities
- Operates A40 haul truck.
- Digs, spreads, and shovels dirt and gravel using pick and or shovel.
- Lifts, carries and holds building materials, tool and supplies.
- Cleans tools, materials and work areas.
- Performs equipment maintenance duties such as cleaning, greasing and oiling machines.
- Adjusts hand levers and depresses pedals to operate equipment and control attachments such as blades, buckets, and swing booms.
- Compliance with Allan Myers Polices including but not limited to. Equipment repair / maintenance procedures and Operator Safety Standards Safety, Safety, Safety! “Home Safe Tonight” and related policies
