About The Position
The Hau Tree Expeditor is a full-time position responsible for ensuring that all food orders are correctly prepared, completed in a timely manner, and delivered to guests at the proper serving temperatures. This role requires a complete working knowledge of the restaurant menus and standards of service, ensuring a proper and efficient level of service to guests. The position may involve additional duties as circumstances require, including potentially assuming the duties of host/hostess, captain, or waitstaff, and may involve delivering food orders, serving guests, and clearing/resetting tables.

Responsibilities
- Ensure all food orders are correctly prepared, completed in a timely manner, and delivered to guests at their proper serving temperatures.
- Maintain complete knowledge of restaurant menus and the standard of service.
- Communicate clearly to kitchen and dining room staff regarding food orders.
- Ensure the level of service to guests is proper and prompt according to standards.
- Deliver food from the kitchen to the dining room to expedite service.
- Potentially assume the duties of host/hostess, captain, or waithelp.
- Consistently perform tasks as specified on sequence of service standards and SOPs.
- Keep work area clean and tidy.
- Relieve other positions in the dining room.
- Assist in set-up and breakdown side duties.
- Recommend the resort’s restaurants and facilities to guests.
