About The Position

This role is responsible for processing chicks and maintaining a clean environment within the hatchery. Duties include performing tasks in the chick processing area and cleaning assigned areas after processing is complete. Training will be provided for operating a Pallet Jack. Adherence to Animal Welfare Policies, Safety Policies, SOP's, GMP's, and all other Company policies is required.

Requirements

• Ability to lift 40-80 pounds
• Ability to push/pull heavy objects
• Ability to be around chemicals for extended periods (while cleaning)
• Ability to work around live animals
• Ability to work in a warm, dusty and cold, moist environment
• Good Attendance

Responsibilities

• Process chicks
• Bring the hatchery back to a clean environment
• Perform duties in the chick processing area
• Clean assigned areas in the Hatchery
• Operate a Pallet Jack (training provided)
• Follow Animal Welfare Policies, Safety Policies, SOP's and GMP's, and all other Company policies
