Harvest Room Labor PR08U 2nd Shift - Center Tx (FT)
About The Position
The Harvest Room Labor position involves hanging live birds in a shackle. This role is located after the cage dumper and is the first chain-driven operation. The live hanger removes a bird from the hanging belt by grasping it by one leg and then the other. Once positioned, breast side away from the hanger, they will hang the bird by both legs into a shackle. The hang rate varies by bird weight. All live hangers will rotate positions from front to back. Hangers will place any DOAs (Dead on Arrival) into the DOA barrel at the end of the conveyor. This is a full-time, 2nd shift position.
Requirements
- Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
- Prior Employee Waiting Period: If previously employed at Tyson, there is a 181-day waiting period before reapplying.
- Can apply if you've worked at Tyson no more than three times.
- Must complete the task after submitting an application to provide additional information to be considered for employment.
