Assist in the Crush Season by providing support to the Winemaking/Cellar departments.
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent
One or more years cellar experience, previous experience in cellar/winemaking preferred
Able to follow written and verbal directions
Conversional English language skills required, ability to read and write English strongly preferred.
Basic math skills required
Attention to detail and ability to follow through with assignments and projects
Ability to accurately carry out written and verbal instructions
Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as a "team player"
Ability to work in a safe, efficient and cooperative manner
Ability to perform regular strenuous physical work
Must be available to work extended hours, including 10–12 hour shifts, any shift (3:00AM – 3:00PM, 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM, 12:00PM - 12:00AM, 1:00PM – 1:00AM, or 4:00 PM – 4:00 AM), and up to 6–7 days per week as needed.

Responsibilities
Shoveling pomace from tanks
Stave removal and installation
Pulling hoses and setting up pumps
Cleaning and sanitizing tanks and process equipment
Assisting operators and racker/blenders in various processing operations
Assisting operators in running crush machinery
Barrel related activities: moving barrels, filling, emptying, topping, additions
Responsible for understanding the Food Safety and Quality Management System and related activities, including SQF standards
Food Safety Responsibility: Report problems with the food safety management system to supervisor
Miscellaneous duties as assigned
