About The Position
This position will assist the Production Team in all harvest operations, including crush operations, juice processing, winemaking support, and laboratory support. The role involves physical labor in an outdoor environment and requires meticulous documentation of all operations.
Requirements
- Requires working outdoors in hot and sunny conditions
- Physical labor including lifting and pulling hoses, chemicals, barrels (with assistance)
- Lifting up to 50 lb
- Working in a wet environment
Responsibilities
- Assist in receiving fruit
- Processing fruit
- Moving hoses to and from tanks, to and from press
- Cleaning all crush equipment, hoses, fittings, floors, drains, tools
- Documenting all crush operations clearly and completely
- Move juice from tanks via pump
- Make additions to juice
- Assist with pump-overs and punch downs
- Assist with rackings
- Documenting all processing operations clearly and completely
- Collect samples for daily brix/temperature checks
