About The Position
You will be the Harness Design Engineer - Level 6 for the F-35 Program which is responsible for delivering advanced electrical harness solutions for the F-35 aircraft. As the Harness Design Engineer - Level 6 you will be responsible for developing and integrating electrical harness and interconnect designs that meet rigorous program requirements.
Requirements
- MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- 12 years or more experience with Wire Harness Design and/or Wire Harness Design Leadership
- Experience with integrating with Aircraft Wire Harness Suppliers
Nice To Haves
- Experience interacting with customers and senior management
- Experience with performing technical design checks/reviews
- Familiarity with LM Aero tools and databases; these include but are not limited to PDM, JEDI, Capital
Responsibilities
- Integrate all aspects of electrical systems, including design, coordination, project management, and supplier management.
- Provide direct liaison engineering and MRB support to Production and Supply Chain.
- Review and disposition PR and ESPaR requests.
- Support sustainment AR requests.
- Lead technical discussions in program‑level meetings to meet requirements.
