About The Position

At Vailexa, we’re not just hiring — we’re building thinkers, creators, and future leaders. We believe in giving people the space to grow, the freedom to think, and the opportunity to create real impact from day one. If you’re someone who wants to learn fast, take ownership, and grow beyond limits, you’ll feel right at home here. This role is much more Linux/server/datacenter focused than Windows focused, lets make Linux troubleshooting and command-line experience a primary requirement. Familiarity with server hardware, provisioning, OS deployment, firmware flashing, system recovery, and hardware troubleshooting is ideal. Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, switching/routing fundamentals) supports rack bring-up and recovery activities. This is important. Python and Bash scripting would likely be more relevant than PowerShell for this role, also very important. Experience in datacenter operations, hardware validation, manufacturing, lab support, or large-scale server environments. This role supports critical engineering operations and may require overtime, evening/night work, weekend coverage, and changing schedules based on business needs. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift quickly. The day-to-day responsibilities include updating FW on multiple racks simultaneously, launching and monitoring diagnostic workloads, recovering failed systems/trays, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and supporting engineering teams around the clock when needed.

  • Solid system-level debugging experience & familiarity with board bring-up and customer support.
  • Good attention to detail, as well as clear written and verbal communications.
