About The Position

As a Systems Lab Hardware Test Technician, you will be supporting a team of hardware design, test, and qualification Engineers who are responsible for system prototype bring-up, validation, and qualification.

Requirements

• Electrical Engineering background
• Experience working in hardware development labs and supporting hardware bring-up.
• Experience with hardware evaluation methodologies including lab measurements, performance monitoring, test automation, and data analysis.
• 1-3 years' experience with hardware and software

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Linux and software scripting languages.
• Knowledge of network infrastructure
• Knowledge of computer systems (e.g., physical, functional, logical, mechanical, electrical, software, thermal etc.).
• Ability to root-cause a failure in a testbed.
• Setup units in chamber lab area (experience with chamber)

Responsibilities

• Support various hardware system prototype bringup and qualification testing activities under minimal supervision by building and testing multi-rack, multi-system testbeds.
• Coordinate with a team of hardware designers, qualification and test engineers, on project planning within hardware development labs, and ensure adequate resources are available.
• Manage lab budgets for test resources, equipment, and systems rack facility related projects.
