About The Position

Credo is seeking a hands-on Hardware Validation Engineer to support our data center products built around high-speed electrical and optical components. The role centers on silicon test and debug, product validation, and Python-based test automation—from characterizing new analog/mixed-signal designs and test chips in the lab to measuring optical evaluation boards and documenting results. The ideal candidate brings strong circuit fundamentals, solid laboratory measurement skills, and proficiency in Python, along with a self-driven, team-oriented approach and the willingness to go above and beyond to resolve high-priority issues and deliver reliable, well-documented validation work. This position will be onsite at our San Jose, CA HQ.

Requirements

  • BS or MS in Electrical or Optical Engineering
  • BS candidates preferably have 1+ year in the semiconductor industry with hands-on analog/mixed-signal experience; strong new graduates with solid circuit fundamentals and lab experience will also be considered.
  • Knowledge of analog circuits (op-amps, digital gates, signal processing)
  • Strong laboratory measurement skills
  • Proficiency in Python and Excel
  • Team-oriented and analytical, with a self-driven desire to deliver beyond the defined scope.

Nice To Haves

  • PCB design knowledge
  • Experience developing automation scripts for link-up, training, and diagnostics
  • Familiarity with high-speed test equipment (oscilloscopes, BERTs, spectrum analyzers)
