About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Hardware Test Engineer to join our team. This role involves hardware design for test boards, J-tag boundary scan test development, and the design, development, documentation, and maintenance of production test equipment and programs. You will support tester issues, ECOs, and line-down situations. The position requires understanding HW/FW test requirements, writing test plans, and providing test solutions. You will also design and integrate test fixtures with ME, and prepare specifications for production test equipment developed by outside vendors. Responsibilities include evaluating new product performance, testability, and specifications, and actively participating in DFM/DFT reviews for NPI programs. You will support the team in testing, calibration, debug, troubleshooting, and failure analysis investigations, and train technicians on board repair, assembly, and maintenance of test equipment. Additionally, you will review production yield data, analyze parametric data, identify areas for improvement, and establish the root cause of production failures and customer returns. You will provide feedback to the design engineering team on suspected design-related product issues and identify and own continuous improvement activities. This role requires accommodation to a flexible work schedule and working extra hours, on occasion, to meet time-sensitive team goals.
