Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field with 3+ years of experience.
  • Solid understanding of computer architectures, integration patterns, and components.
  • Hands on experience with various storage and networking technologies like SAN (Storage Area Network), NAS (Network Attached Storage), CSIs, CNIs, and cloud storage solutions.
  • Proficient in using compute and storage management software and tools (IPMI, Redfish, etc.)
  • Scripting skills in languages like Python.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with other internal and external groups.
  • Familiarity with industry toolkits such as CUDA, ROCm, OpenCL or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with containerized and virtualized technologies like Kubernetes, VMware or Hyper-V.
  • Strong sense of initiative and ownership.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred experience in software defined networks.
  • Preferred experience in software defined storage.

Responsibilities

  • Perform engineering analysis of identifying, analyzing, and resolving compute and server related issues.
  • Perform prototype and product reviews and validation to ensure product reliability and performance.
  • Test and debug applications within the engineering organization.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to resolve and implement required functions and features.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to provide guidance for new product release.
  • Tracking, testing and documentation firmware used in shipping products.
  • Provide support and technical consultation to customers and internal teams if requested.
