About The Position

Imagine what you can do here. Apple is a place where extraordinary people gather to do their lives best work. Together we create products and experiences people once couldn't have imagined, and now, can't imagine living without. It's the diversity of those people and their ideas that inspires the innovation that runs through everything we do. APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Define test requirements and perform tests on radio frequency (RF) systems to validate and qualify the design during the design validation and production phases of Apple’s projects. Work with Apple’s engineering teams to design efficient and comprehensive end-of-line production tests. Effectively balancing test duration with test coverage to ensure that every product will meet the intended requirements. Define tests that will be used to validate units manufactured at scale while working with Apple’s engineering teams and contract manufacturers. Lead verification of a complex, multi-disciplinary project by defining test methodology and coverage standards across the system to ensure product quality and increase yield. Debug and perform root cause analysis and report results when hardware issues are identified using RF design, test equipment and data analysis. Support the implementation of automated tests by defining test equipment, scripting code for data collection and performing data analysis to reduce operator error and speed up data collection. Create and execute detailed test plans for end-to-end system performance evaluation. Automate test data collection, analysis and reporting using Python programming. Troubleshoot complex wireless problems and provide recommendations for fixes independently, including identifying devices that perform out-of-family or debugging software issues. International travel required 15%. 40 hours/week.
