Requirements

  • Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
  • 1 year of experience with Schematic capture and PCB layout tools
  • 1 year of experience Designing low power, embedded digital, analog and power electronic circuits and systems
  • 1 year of experience Implementing system integration for various hardware technologies with microcontrollers
  • 1 year of experience Circuit design and integration of actuation systems including braking circuits
  • 1 year of experience Designing and validating power integrity and peripheral communication interfaces including SPI, I2C, UART, LVDS, MIPI or BISS
  • 1 year of experience Performing failure analysis and hardware debug to solve complex technical issues that arise during hardware development
  • 1 year of experience Using lab equipment including high speed oscilloscopes, DMMs, TDM, or logic analyzer to take accurate and high-quality measurements
  • 1 year of experience Generating functional and test specifications
  • 1 year of experience Analysis and design of protection circuits for functional safety
  • 1 year of experience Applying principles of computer architecture and hands-on work with SOCs
  • 1 year of experience Architect and design of Power over Ethernet and USB-C systems.

Responsibilities

  • Architect and drive definition of novel hardware architectures that enable or enhance experiences with new Apple devices.
  • Architect and drive design of novel Power over Ethernet (POE) products.
  • Drive analysis and validation of touch noise in POE systems along with their impact on Apple products.
  • Design, drive validation, perform failure analysis, identify correction actions for emissions when paired with NPI Apple devices.
  • Evaluate and drive new silicon development in support of longer term product roadmap.
  • Define core architecture that can be leveraged across products.
  • Define RF system loss budgets.
  • Prepare and facilitate product and technology competitive analysis.
