This is part of a "special project" team building novel solution for customers with sophisticated security and locality requirements. You will be working on building the next generation of AI hardware and the software that brings it to life. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to make a Google-level impact on the future of AI. We are looking for generalist software engineers to contribute to all parts of the software stack. This is a chance to work on a vertically integrated system, from the operating system and drivers to the application layer. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, Electrical Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience working in a software technical environment, or 3 years of experience with an advanced degree.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
  • 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.

Responsibilities

  • Gather system requirements, define architecture, execute hardware design, and product validation.
  • Lead the bring up, validation, NPI, deployment, and sustaining of hardware solutions.
  • Work cross-functionally with hardware, software, mechanical, thermal, validation, manufacturing, and external vendors.
  • Drive system development from concept through production.
  • Lead debug and root cause analysis of deployed systems.
