About The Position
As a Hardware Sales Associate, you will inform and assist customers with the products and solutions they need for their home, yard, or business. You will generate sales of hardware, lawn and garden, paint, and related products. This role involves merchandising products, building compelling displays, ordering products, and maintaining accurate inventories. You will also be responsible for stocking, pricing, and organizing products, as well as maintaining a clean and pleasant sales environment.
Requirements
- General knowledge of retail products and categories.
- Ability to listen to a customer’s needs and formulate appropriate solutions.
- Ability to operate a register, computer, and calculator.
- A commitment to Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction.
- Ability to work efficiently, promptly, and accurately.
- Ability and willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
