About The Position

Engineering Design Team (EDT), Inc. is seeking an experienced RF and DSP Engineer to join their small, high-performing team. This role will involve leading the development of a new product line that integrates AI into RF applications at the edge, serving scientific, UAV, industrial, and defense communities.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years in RF and DSP design with an emphasis on Software Defined Radios (SDR).
• Ability to initiate and configure digital signals and develop signal processing systems and algorithms.
• FPGA based SDR (software defined radio) design experience.
• Expertise with schematic capture, layout, component library development, and bill of material creation; preferably with Altium Designer.
• Experience in laying out mixed signal PCBs or directing PCB layout.
• Ability to bring up and debug electronics and system level issues; with expertise solving issues such as data throughput, grounding, and thermal management.
• Experience with C/C++, Python.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in EW, SIGINT or satellite COMMs applications.
