Raytheon's Effector Analog & Power (EAP) team is responsible for the development, from concept to integration, of Telemetry and Flight Termination products; power systems from all up round to the lowest level power regulation; servo electronics supporting all mechanical motion in our products and low noise mixed signal electronics that provides the analog to digital interface to our front-end sensors. Raytheon is seeking a Hardware Lab Lead to manage and implement environmental test projects, as well as oversee the day-to-day administrative functions of multiple engineering and environmental test labs. This role will focus on ensuring safety, security, and compliance in alignment with established doctrine and governance. You will be creative and innovative, possessing strong organizational, coordination, planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Requirements

Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years’ prior relevant experience OR an advanced degree OR in lieu of degree a minimum of 6 years experience
Experience with working directly with engineers, technicians and/or leadership in an engineering lab environment.
Mechanical and/or electrical/electronic skills.
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Nice To Haves

Strong mechanical and/or electrical/electronic skills
Experience with OSHA/NFPA industrial policies and regulations
Experience with working directly with engineers, technicians and leadership in an engineering lab environment in the areas of safety, security, compliance and property management
Experience with EHS, NISPOM, JAFAN and Foreign Object Elimination
Ability to build positive, lasting relationships with customers
Experience with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Strong understanding and experience with Metrology and calibrations practices and preparing assets for such.

Responsibilities

Lab Operating Procedure (LOP) Management; provide direction for lab users on established policies
Management, coordination and implementation of Environment Health Safety and Sustainment Property & Metrology Management
Perform cost analysis, ensure task completion within approved budgets
Provide process support to Supply Chain Management (SCM)
Oversee audit/assessment preparation.
Overseeing Engineering Lab Objective Evaluation and Voluntary Protection Program; develop corrective action plans and assist in the development of long-range objectives, including engineering customer goals
Safeguarding of classified/proprietary material, hardware, and documentation, utilizing defense material/property under Export Administration Regulations
Develop and implement communication plans, providing consulting support to functional and engineering customer management
Work to influence stakeholders within and outside responsible area at an operational level regarding policies, practices, and procedures
Provide professional input, guidance, and problem solving
This position requires some physical exertion while standing, sitting, or walking, working outside
Local travel in the general area may be required, with occasional travel outside the local area
